- Dielectric strength: 440(volts/mil)
- Insulation constant: 3.8(1kHz)
- Dissipation coefficient: 0.012 (1kHz)
- Volume resistivity: 1.2x10^15 (ohm/cm)
Overview:
- Excellent waterproofing: Provides insulation from humidity and water after potting and solidification.
- Provides high insulation performance which can ensure electrical conductivity of your projects before and after potting.
- Good arc resistance
Usage:
- Cleaning: before starting, make sure your project is clear of dust, moisture and oil.
- Set scale up: make sure your container is clean. set scale to 0g with container on top.
- Pour 50g of glue A into the container
- Pour 10g of glue B into the container
- Steps 3 and 4 can be done in 5:1 ratio. If not set at the appropriate ratios, it will cause poor curing and hardness
- Mix and stir your mixture. Make sure to scrap the sides to get a proper mixture. If not stirred well, it will lead to some places not cured
- Defoaming: after mixing let the glue stand for 5 minutes to facilitate the discharge of air bubbles. (If you have a vibration set up, you can use that to make this process faster)
- Pour the mixture onto your clean project after all air bubbles have exited
- Wait 12 hours for the mixture to solidify. In this time the mixture should get hot, this means that a chemical reaction is happening between A and B. therefore air bubbles will be forming. This is normal. ( The mixture should become rubbery and the surface is smooth and flat).
