MAKERBUINO STANDARD KIT
Related products
Description
It comes in a kit form (or you can buy it preassembled) – you get a box with all the electronic components necessary for building your own portable game machine. To build your own MAKERbuino the only things you’ll need are some basic tools and an interest in technology.
This device is based on easy-to-find components and programmed in Arduino – one of the most popular DIY microcontroller platforms. It’s open-source, hackable and easily customizable with additional hardware components and custom casings.
In the basic MAKERbuino kit, you’ll get all the components needed to build and program your own game console.
A detailed guide with lots of pictures is included to make assembly super-easy: MAKERbuino build guide.
Included in the package:
- unassembled MAKERbuino (all components necessary to build 1 unit)
- 128MB SD card loaded with games
- USB-TTL programmer board (for connecting your MAKERbuino to a computer and programming it)
- Already assembled unit can be found here.
The design is fully open source, programmable in Arduino and compatible with various Arduino modules.
MAKERbuino is also compatible with Gamebuino and its vast game library.
