LEE’S ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS BINDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

The following are the terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions", “TOC”) for the sale of products ("Products") by Lee’s Electronic Components Ltd. (“Lee’s”, “Lees”, “us”, “we”) to Lee’s Electronic’s customers (“Customers”) at 4131 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC, V5V 4E9, Canada (“our store”, “physical store”), www.leeselectronic.com (“our website”, “the site”, “online store”, “the web”, “website”), and 604-875-1993 (“our phone number”).
Subsections of each section in the terms and agreements will inherit the agreements listed in the parent section.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
1.1 All Orders
All orders – including and not limited to online, phone, e-mail, website – made to Lee’s Electronic Components must comply with all the agreements listed in this section. This section also applies to orders made to our website (“online orders”), order of product listed in our catalog but not currently in stock (“back orders”), and order of product not listed in our catalog (“special orders”). All orders are defined by paid requested item(s); therefore if the order is not paid, it is not considered as an order. Customer agree to place an order and understand the requested products in that order when any of the following occur: credit card information is given to Lee’s Electronic Components Ltd., online payment receipt of transaction is provided to the Customer, or PayPal / Bambora gateway has recorded the transaction for the order. Orders can only be changed or cancelled before shipping occurs. Once shipping occurred, Customer are responsible to pay for shipping cost (including returning) for denied parcel or products. For warranty and return merchandize authorization (RMA) please read section 5 “Returns and RMA.” All orders follow our physical store policy of no refund or exchanges. Lee’s Electronic Components hold the right to deny order at any time and for any reason. Placed orders are only kept for 90 (ninety) days from when the order is placed. No refund, exchange, or the guarantee that the order has not been discarded will be given when the “pickup window” has expired. On pickups, customers must provide a valid Provincial issued identification along with pickup confirmation signature. Lee's Electronic Components Ltd. holds the right to keep a copy of the signature and the identification for up to 7 (seven) years from the pickup date. Lee’s Electronic Components will assume the information given to us by the Customer is correct and up-to-date. We do not hold responsibility for damages and liabilities caused by misinformation given to us. Customer(s) who placed the order are responsible for any fee incurred for denied or returned parcel on shipping.
1.2 Online Orders
Online orders are defined by orders made through our online store (www.leeselectronic.com). All orders placed on our online store are subject to approval by our management team. Ambiguous and/or invalid orders can be cancelled at any time without prior notice. Sales representative may decline an order on insufficient information provided. Order that was made but not listed under “order history” should be reported within 7 business days of ordering; otherwise the order will not be fulfilled. There are no discounts of any form applicable to online orders, except the usage of online order voucher. Only one voucher is applicable per order.
To pick up online orders, please provide the salesperson with your invoice, or provide your name and ID to the salesperson. If another person is picking up the order on behalf of the account holder then he/she is responsible to provide the receipt (electronically or printed) to the Customer service.
1.3 Phone and E-Mail Orders
Phone orders are defined by orders that are received through phone and/or messages submitted through the internet (e-mail) to the top level domain leeselectronic.com. Customers are required to provide and guarantee the correctness of the following information: Name, shipping address (if applicable), phone number, and payment information details (credit card number, expiry date, and cardholder name). In the case that we do not have enough stock to complete the order, the Customer will be notified and given the option of backordering. International orders placed via phone or e-mail will have to provide complete address on written form – either by faxing or e-mailing us – to ensure the accuracy of the address given. International orders will be charged in Canadian Dollar (CAD $). Lee’s Electronic Components are not responsible for any fee incurred for long distance calls and currency exchanges.
1.4 Backorders / Special Orders / Quotations
Backorders are defined by orders of item that are presently in our catalog but insufficient stock quantity. Special orders are defined by orders of item that are not presently in our catalog. Quotations are defined by Customers requesting the price for item that is not in our catalog, or requesting wholesale discount prices. Quotations are not considered an order. Backorders and special orders require payment prior to the completion of orders. Quotations are only active for 7 (seven) days from the creation of the quotation.
2. Privacy, Information, and Data
Product images, available quantity on our website are only to be used solely for reference purposes. We cannot guarantee the exact same product appearance and the availability as what is posted on our online catalog. By creating account(s) on leeselectronic.com, you and/or the account holder consent to receiving e-mail from Lee’s Electronic Components for non-intrusive marketing and statistic purposes. Non sensitive information (e-mail and phone number) given to us will be kept and used for non-intrusive marketing purposes. Sensitive information (credit card information) will be destroyed as soon as the information is no longer needed. On found data ambiguity, we will verify the information given with the account holder. We will use the most recent information given to us for further processing. Lee’s Electronic Components are not responsible for any damages, fees, and/or authoritative issues resulting in data ambiguity and incorrectness.
3.1. Shipping Method and Courier
Customers who do not want to go into the store can have their orders placed online. We are also doing a temporary promotion for BC residence during the duration of COVID-19.
- Orders under $100CAD will have reduced shipping of $13.50CAD within BC
- Order over $100CAD will be eligible for free shipping within BC
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer anything to customers residing outside of BC at this moment.
Lee’s Electronic Components will ship parcels using the following couriers: Canada Post, FedEx, or Novex depending on the cheapest and fastest shipping method. The preferred courier and method – which is subject to change without any prior notice – of all regular parcels is Canada Post Expedited Parcel. We use a flat shipping rate for regular parcels within Canada of CAD$18/$22 depending on the location and may change without prior notice. International shipping price are subject to a quotation given by the logistics management team. Tracking number will be listed in the Customer’s order history (if placed online) once the parcel is shipped out. For phone orders and e-mail orders, please request the tracking number of your order via our support e-mail at email@example.com. Lee’s Electronic Components cannot guarantee parcel delivery times. Lee’s Electronic Components is not responsible and/or liable for missing or damaged parcel on misinformation. Customers are responsible for return shipping cost for any returning orders, even with the free shipping promotion applied, unless it is deemed manufacturer defective. Lee’s Electronic will not ship parcels with letter envelopes of any form, unless otherwise approved by the management team. You can arrange for pick up with your preferred courier. Lee’s Electronic Components will not apply any shipping fee for courier pick-ups. We are not responsible for any fee incurred or charged by your courier of choice. By placing an order, Customers agree that they have understood the datasheet of the product that they ordered. Lee’s Electronic Components are not responsible for any damages such as, but not limited to, loss of employment, financial loss, and/or product damages.
3.2. Overweight / Oversized Parcel
All overweight and/or oversized shipment is subject to additional shipping charge. The shipping price will be quoted by Lee’s Electronic Components’ logistics management team.
3.3. Sales Tax and Customs
All orders made to Lee’s Electronic are subject to sales taxes based on the Customer’s location. All international order will not have taxes applied, but Customers are responsible for all fees incurred during exporting, importing, and customs procedure.
3.4. Shipping Restrictions
Lee’s Electronic Components will ship parcels with compliance to Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) transportation of dangerous goods memorandum (Memorandum D19-13-5). Therefore, some products are not able to be delivered internationally to Customers. Please call us at 1-604-875-1993 for questions regarding shipping restrictions.
Lee’s Electronic Components hold the rights to change pricing on our catalogs without prior notice and for any reason. Lee's Electronic Components Ltd. do not price match or give price adjustment.
4.1. Discounts and Promotions
Discounts and promotions are limited time offer and can be nullified at any time for any reason by the management team. Vouchers code will have to be applied using our online store at the end of the checkout process. Discounts – or sale item – will be automatically applied to invoices on both online and physical retail store. We hold the right to exclude any products from promotions and discounts. We hold the right to create restrictions on discounts and promotions. Discounted items may vary between our online store and our physical retail store.
Wholesale prices only apply when the order is made in the situation of business-to-business (B2B) and not through online platform with the approved purchase quantity. Eligible businesses or institutions must provide purchase order (PO) for wholesale purchases. Pricing quotation will be given to the requested wholesaling order. Purchase orders are required to finalize the order once the wholesale pricing quotation is given. Wholesale quotations follow our general quotation agreement listed in section 1.4. Lee’s Electronic Components can change wholesaling price at any time for any reason without prior notice.
5. Refund, Exchanges, and RMA
Lee’s Electronic Components follow the company’s policy of no refund or exchanges due to the nature of electronic components. Management approved refund or exchanges are subject to 20% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for shipping cost of returning parcels or items. Defective products are subject to manufacturer warranty and RMA processes. Lee’s Electronic Components can only assist Customers to mediate RMA processes. We are not entitled to give you refund or exchanges until the decision is made by the manufacturer. We do not guarantee the timeliness of RMA processes as they might vary between manufacturers.
Lee’s Electronic Components accept payment through VISA, MasterCard, and PayPal for our online store. We accept VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, and Debit Cards. We do not provide gift certificate or gift cards. Approved companies are able to pay in Accounts, usually in “net-30.” Purchase order (PO) is required for any form of accounts payment. Overdue “net-30” payments are subject to 15% interest rate on month to month basis. Lee's Electronic Components Ltd. holds the right to refuse account payment for any reason and to any entity.
7. Limitation of Liabilities
Lee’s Electronic Components is not liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages of any nature including, but not limited to, loss of profit and revenue, service interruptions, testing, recalls, costs of substitute products, property damage, personal injury, death, or legal expenses. Customer’s expenses shall not exceed the purchase price paid by Customer for the product.
