SOLDER, MG, SN60/PB40, RA LEADED, 0.81MM, 4890-18G
Description
4890 Sn60/Pb40 RA Solder Wires are electronics grade solder wires. The 60 40 rosin core solder uses a classic tin-to-lead alloy ratio complemented with an RA-like flux core. These solder wires meet J-STD-004B, ASTM B 32, and exceed J-STD-006C specifications. They melt at slightly higher temperatures and over a wider temperature range than 63/37 solder. This results in robust and reliable joints that are highly resistant to whisker formation.
These 60 40 leaded solders achieve a consistent solder and flux percentage thanks to our state-of-the-art extrusion wire-drawing machine, which continuously monitors the wire to prevent voids and ensure consistency, providing a top-grade solder wire.
