Description

The JJ / Tesla ECC832 can be used in place of any 12DW7 or 7247 tube.

It's an excellent option for old Ampeg amps.

COMBINATED DOUBLE TRIODE

ECC832 is 12DW7 pre-amplifying double triode. It combines 12AX7 and 12AU7, where the 12AX7 is used as 1st stage and the 12AU7 as 2nd stage.

In the 12DW7/ECC832, Section 1 of the tube (pins 6, 7, and 8) is the high gain 12AX7/ECC83 spec (gain factor 100) and Section 2 (pins 1, 2, and 3) is the low gain 12AU7/ECC82 spec (gain factor 17).
