Description

If you've ever tried to interface a 3.3V device to a 5V system, you know what a challenge it can be. A bidirectional logic level translator is a small device that can safely step down a 5V signal to 3.3V and simultaneously step up 3.3V to 5V. This level shifter also works with 2.8V and 1.8V devices. The difference between this logic level converter and our previous versions is that you can successfully set high and low voltages and safely raise and lower them on the same channel. Each level shifter has the ability to translate 4 pins on the high side to 4 pins on the low side, where two inputs and two outputs are provided for each side

    The level shifter is very easy to use. The board needs to be powered from two voltage sources (high and low) used by the system. High voltage (eg 5V) to "HV" pin, low voltage (eg 3.3V) to "LV", ground from system to "GND" pin

    VIN is connected to the 5V system power supply

    3V3 connects to 3V system power supply
