This Bluetooth® adapter provides full support for the latest Bluetooth 4.0+EDR Dual Mode standard and is backwards compatible with Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, as well. It utilizes the Broadcomm BTW driver and supports both Single-mode and Dual-mode connections.

The driver for this adapter requires the Microsoft Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, or Windows 7 operating systems, with somewhat diminished capabilities on Windows XP (see Specifications for full details). It is a Class 2 Bluetooth device with transmission power of up to 4dBm and a full data rate of up to 3Mbps.
