Store Hours during this period

Starting June 1st, the storefront will be open to customers with limited access to the shop. Parts of the shop will be sectioned off only allowing access to our staff. Customers are expected to be knowledgeable of these guidelines when entering the store:

  • If you are feeling ill and have flu-like symptoms, please do not enter the store 
  • Maintain 2 meter (6 feet) social distancing between people at all times
  • Maximum of 3 customers inside the shop at a time
  • If possible, come prepared with product ID or technical details
  • Please try to be patient as staff will try to assist our customers sequentially and may not be able to assist immediately
  • Please limit your duration spent in the store up to 15 minutes maximum to allow other customers an opportunity to shop in our store

Guidance and Precautions for COVID-19

Due to the rapid evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we have taken precautions and are continuing to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers.

1) What is Lee's Electronic Components doing about COVID-19 for staff and customers?

We are constantly keeping up with the federal and provincial public health authorities and continue with our increased office cleaning procedures. We have also encouraged our employees to take additional actions, such as enhanced hygiene protocols, avoiding close contact, such as hand-shaking, and urged them not to travel outside of Canada. We will continue to keep up to date on the guidance of federal and provincial public health authorities to make informed decisions. As the situation evolves locally and the risk level changes, we will quickly act to implement additional protocols.

2) Is the store safe and sanitized?

Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our employees and our customers. Lee’s Electronic Components have increased frequency of cleaning, which include increased cleaning of high frequency touched surfaces such as door handles, counters, and electronic input objects. All employees have been encouraged to follow enhanced hygiene protocols and we will keep up with public health authorities to ensure all protocols are up to date and improved when needed.

3) I don’t want to go into the store, what can I do?

Customers who do not want to go into the store can have their orders placed online. We are also doing a temporary promotion for BC residence during the duration of the COVID-19.

  • Orders under $100CAD will have reduced shipping of $13.50CAD within BC.
  • Orders over $100CAD will be eligible for free shipping within BC.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer anything to customers residing outside of BC at the moment.

4) How can you help?

We ask that you delay your visit if:

  • you have a fever, new onset of a cough, or difficulty breathing;
  • you have traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days; or
  • you have been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with the COVID-19

We also recommend customers to follow the enhanced hygiene protocols, such as, but not limited to:

  • washing your hands more frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • using proper coughing and sneezing etiquettes such as covering your mouth and nose during coughing and sneezing with tissue or elbow
  • keep physical contact to the minimum

In order to protect our staff and customers, we ask politely to please maintain good respiratory and health etiquette. Wearing face masks are recommended for our customers.

We at Lee’s Electronic Components do not condone racism or aggressive behaviour targeted toward any of our customers and staff for any reason. We have every right to refuse service for any entity and get authorities involved if we feel that our ethics and moral standard are breached.
